Static fluid bed
Manufacturer: Comspain S.A.
Application:
- processes: drying, cooling
- chemical industry: fertilizers, PVC, PP, PE, nylon, urea
- food industry: salt, sugar, soya-bean and sunflower proteins, lactose, yeast
- mineral industry: sand, lime, aluminum oxide
Specification:
- possibility of drying (usually 2 sections with different temperatures) and cooling in 1 apparatus (3rd section)
- fluid bed is held by a stream of hot air/gas flowing through a perforated plate
- drying temperatures of up to +400 C, moisture content of 30/50% depending on the type of product being dried
- possibility of independent operation or in combination with a rotary drier (final drying) or fluidal vibration dryer (difficult product)
- drying with hot air heated with steam or heating oil or direct drying with gases from a burner (temperature-resistant products)
- defined time of stay
- dumping of product after drying/cooling through a dumping
- no mechanical destruction of crystals
- air dedusting system, possibility of its recirculation to the system
- preservation of material's physical and biological properties
- high drying/cooling efficiency
- fluidization surface up to 32 m2
- High-temperature vibratory fluid bed
- drying temperatures above 400 C
- fluid bed is held by a vibratory platform made of flexible blades
- heat exchange in the bed during transverse flow
- flow of air up to 24 m/s,
- recommended in case of gases for cogeneration purposes (energy and heat)
- Fluid bed with internal heat exchanger
- used for drying dusty materials
- small flows of hot air for maintaining bed which limits dustiness of exhaust air
- diaphragm heat exchange (up to 95%) through internally mounted, in bed, plates heated with water vapor or hot water; also in cooling section
